After many months in the making and a lot of miles, we finally got all five grandchildren together for this shoot held in a fantastic garden nursery in Surrey. A photographers dream, and that was just the small part I had time to explore.

I finally got five minutes last week to do a mini shoot with my other halves two youngest. We headed off armed with cupcakes, sandwiches, and a few bits of vintage crockery to a local park in Surrey, where i’d spotted a few small meadows earlier in the week for a spot of afternoon tea!
But British weather being what it is we literally had about 20 mins to do the whole session before the heavens opened, i think the kids thought it was worth it for the chocolate cupcakes alone as they disappeared in five seconds (all 12!) .

It’s always lovely going back to catch up with clients and see how much the little ones have grown. This was one of very first clients so it made it even more special. What beautiful and wonderfully behaved children, such a joy to shoot.

I can’t believe it’s been six months + since I last saw these guys, this year has gone so fast it feels like only yesterday I was blowing raspberries for this little man.
