Coffee morning

I got to spend a few hours with this beautiful family in London this morning, along with two doting  grandmothers, such a relaxed session it really was like popping round for coffee. The children were fantastic and so well behaved,  it really was a pleasure.

N&M it was so lovely to finally met you all.  Enjoy the preview, a few more than I would normally put up, but I was spoilt for choice.

Prom night

It feels like an age since I have posted anything, it’s been a really manic couple of weeks.  Lots and lots of commercial work which I can’t share here unfortunately. I’ve turned another year older ( feels like about 10!) and my eldest daughter has left school and had her prom.

After weeks of planning the day finally arrived. I thought my heart was going to burst when I saw her  and she was all dressed and ready to go, I’m sure every mum has that moment where they just can’t believe that the last 16 years has flown by. I’m so proud of her.

All the girlies looked amazing, and Jaz’s date J looked especially handsome.  Thank you so much Caroline for allowing us all to invade your house while they got ready, what a star.

I also have to say that it’s not easy to work as make-up artist, hairdresser, photographer and mother all at once ;)))

Curly fries !!!!

I got to spend a couple of hours with the gorgeous Z yesterday evening. Such a natural to shoot despite a few nerves.  We stayed very close to home to use what was on the door step and try and create something with an urban twist.

The only problem with staying so close to home (rare for me these days) was that there were plenty of young on lookers even though I had timed the shoot for when everything was shut, who were far to interested with what was going on!!

Not my usual style of processing but I think the x-processing on these works on these. I love it when I get the chance to play and teenagers are  up  for most things, I’m already thinking about locations and ideas for our next session as I really want to take advantage of the dancer in Z, note the ballet shoes !

Z, I hope you enjoy these.
