The Mini Session Dates are here – Autumn & Christmas mini sessions.

The kids are back at school and as much as I detest seeing offers for christmas is September, it’s apparent to me now more than ever that everybody starts planning earlier and earlier every year.

I know your diary will soon be filled with actives for the kids, the family commitments, the school plays and recitals and before you know it every spare minute is booked up and those christmas cards you wished you’d had a chance to organise are now a hastily purchased pack with just enough time to scribble a heartfelt note before you miss the last post.

Sound familiar ? So this year I am releasing the dates super early and giving you not one chance to update your family images but four.

First we have the Autumn sessions, if you love that autumnal look, the beautiful low light and the outdoors these are perfect for you (especially if you’er not quite ready to get the Christmas decorations out) these will be running on selected dates over two weekends.

The second are the Christmas mini sessions, for those of you that would like to send out your holiday cards filled with up to date family images, again these will run over two weekends and with plenty of time to receive your images back and get your holiday cards printed.

For those of you that would like custom holiday cards I will be releasing a selection of templates to choose from in early December, all you have to do is select the images from you gallery, your preferred template and message and I will do the rest, What could be simpler ?

All the while leaving you safe in the knowledge that you’ve checked one more thing off your list, leaving plenty of time to make those mince pies or accept yet another drinks invitation !

If you’er stuck for ideas why not think about one of the following :

  • A walk in the woods – with so many parks on our doorsteps it’s a fab location for family sessions. Walk the dog – your furry friend is also part of the family so why not bring them along.
  • Find a local pumpkin patch or apple orchard , not only are they great backdrops, they are great fun for the kids.
  • Grab a blanket and layer up your clothes, think hot chocolate and family snuggles, inside or out.
  • What little one doesn’t love jumping in the fallen leaves.
  • And with many of my lovely clients from across the ponds, why not gather the family together for an extended session or a Thanks Giving shoot if they are visiting over that period.

And if you didn’t already know I work both Saturdays and Sundays ! I know you all have busy schedules, but there are only so many weekends between now and Christmas and they are getting booked up so get in touch, lets talk dates and times and get you booked in.

Can’t do the mini session dates, drop me a line and let work something out.
